"Питер-Пол Пигманс (Peter-Paul Pigmans), родившийся 31 января 1961 года и умерший в августе 2003 был датским габбер-музыкантом, наибольшую славу которому принесла музыка, выпущенная под именем «3 Steps Ahead». Впрочем, среди его псевдонимов были и The Ender, The Illegal Alien и Silverbells.

Его творчество считалось одним из самых инновационных видов габбера на сцене: в то время как большинство продюсеров просто долбили трек за треком, Питер-Пол относился максимально внимательно к тщательной проработке структуры треков и приданию индивидуальности каждому из них. Благодаря этому в его композициях можно услышать даже элементы атмосферного саунда, что совершенно нетипично для габбера. А то, что он был способен сыграть свою музыку лайвом и вовсе революция.

В 1999 году ему поставили диагноз: рак мозга, и в июле 2003 года его друзья-промоутеры даже огранизовали вечеринку в его честь с целью собрать деньги на лечение. На этом мероприятии выступали практически все звезды мировой габбер-сцены - бесплатно, чтобы помочь коллеге избавиться от недуга.
Безумно жаль, но было слишком поздно, и через две недели пости пати он умер.

В память о нем многие мелкие мероприятия и рейв Thunderdome в 2004 году начинались с минуты молчания. Так вспоминают только на самом деле достойных людей, коим и был Питер-Пол Пигманс."
