Наконец вышел промо-сингл "Nothing Lasts Forever" - трека, который на сайте у них лежал ещё в 2006 году.... И 4х лет не прошло
Кстати не факт, что скоро сингл выйдет и вообще что выйдет. У AATW промо-синглы часто расходятся с релизами на многие месяцы...

This album was first conceived in 1997 on a flight to Japan. There was a news article about a computer called Deep Blue which had just beaten the chess world champion. The news article was entitled 'The Mind Of The Machine'. We'd also recently worked with Jeff Wayne on his remix album of The War Of The Worlds, so the ideas for this album started to emerge. We approached Steven Berkoff to be the narrator on the album, which he quickly accepted.... his voice set the tone for the rest of the tracks.

I'm going to finish off this album, that we binned to do 'Happy Hour'. The only songs you've heard from this album so far are... The Mind of the Machine, Violent Mechanical Psychopath & Tears In The Rain (Pod mix). There's also a song called Planet B which was an instrumental but eventually turned into the song 'Forever', when I wrote the lyrics.

It'll just be a download & I'd give it you free, if it wasn't for the fact that 2 of the songs were released commercially.

Had a weird day, as me & Dale went through the tracks that were gonna be on this album. I'd forgotten about 'Tears In The Rain' as that was a song inspired by Rutger Hauer's dying speach from Bladerunner & I wrote that one as well (K.OToole). :-)

Pulse & So High were never finished (even tho So High was a rough B-side), but Free Running will probably be included as well, as it fits the style.

I went for a drink with Dale tonight & we're really happy to finish this album off..... It's just feels weird finishing off the old tracks, as it feels like we've gone back in time 10yrs..... God I want to tour again!!! :-)

It's gonna be finished very quickly..... there's only one song left to do, but I can't get the 'Just so high' sample off an old Akai S900 disc, so that's stalling everything. :-)

I'm gonna chat with AATW about a limited CD run, just don't expect lots of fancy artwork like on the (stupidly expensive booklet) first album.

I should be able to show you the album cover later this week as well.

The track listing is now on the album info..... If you'd like me to post the blurb about how this album was created & then shelved for 12yrs, then just ask...... but it''ll be a very long reply! :-)

Oh.... & there will be a limited run on CD, but you might have to wait a while. I'm not a fan of mp3's, as it's like buying a print of a painting.

I doubt there will be a video for NLF, as the albums not ready yet..... anyway, the synopsis of the Mind of the Machine album is available if you look in the discography section on this page.

I'm In Heaven, вот это песня... Такая ностальгия по тем временам когда я встречался с первой своей настоящей любовью, встречались 2 года, потом дорожки наши разошлись. Ездил к ней в другой город 2.5 часа в одну сторону на 2х электричках и метро. Помню лето, тепло, ветер задувает в окно электрички и эта песня по радио на мобиле... На дискогс об этом не упомянуто. Зато в контакте куча ремиксов))
Голос новой вокалистки практически неотличим от Gillian Tennant. Трек мощный, глоток свежего воздуха, хотя экстэндед микс круче, по крайней мере выдержан в их классическом стиле.
Кстати, никто не поделится синглом?
